🚌 NEW COMMUNITY TRANSPORT PLANS APPROVED FOR NORTH AYRSHIRE!North Ayrshire Council has approved plans for a new accessible community transport service, in partnership with Coalfields Community Transport, with £100,000 earmarked to support the project.The service aims to reduce transport barriers, improve accessibility and help residents reach essential services.🚐 Proposals include:Accessible door-to-door transportTravel to healthcare appointmentsTransport for community groupsAffordable travel optionsTrained drivers and volunteer opportunities💙 The service will particularly benefit older people, disabled residents, rural communities and those experiencing isolation.📅 Further planning and community engagement will take place before the service launches, with a date yet to be confirmed.
